गौरुडव्यूह-रचना तथा अर्धचन्द्र-प्रत्यव्यूह
Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
शब्दायमाने संग्रामे पटहे कर्णदारिणि | युद्धयमानस्य संग्रामे कुर्वतः पौरुषं स्वकम्
sañjaya uvāca | śabdāyamāne saṅgrāme paṭahe karṇadāriṇi | yudhyamānasya saṅgrāme kurvataḥ pauruṣaṃ svakam | jighāṃsantaṃ yudhāṃ śreṣṭhaṃ tadā āsīt tumulaṃ mahat ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา ครั้นเมื่อสนามรบกึกก้อง และกลองศึกอันกรีดหูถูกตีระงม เหล่านักรบต่างประจัญบานแสดงวีรภาพของตน แล้วบรรดาผู้มุ่งสังหารยอดนักรบก็กรูกันเข้าประดัง ในขณะนั้นเอง การปะทะอันใหญ่หลวงและอื้ออึงก็อุบัติขึ้น”
