गौरवं पाण्डुपुत्राणां मान्यान्‌ मानयतां च तान्‌ | दृष्टवा महीक्षितस्तत्र पूजयाउ्चक्रिरे भूशम्‌,माननीय पुरुषोंका सम्मान करनेवाले पाण्डवोंके उस गौरवको देखकर सब भूपाल उनकी बड़ी प्रशंसा करने लगे

gauravaṃ pāṇḍuputrāṇāṃ mānyān mānayatāṃ ca tān | dṛṣṭvā mahīkṣitastatra pūjayāṃ cakrire bhūśam ||

ครั้นกษัตริย์ทั้งหลายได้เห็นศักดิ์ศรีของโอรสแห่งปาณฑุ ผู้รู้จักยกย่องผู้ควรยกย่อง ก็พากันสรรเสริญอย่างยิ่ง และถวายความเคารพนับถือเป็นพิเศษ ณ ที่นั้น
