Nirmaryāda-saṃgrāma-varṇana — The Unbounded Clash and Bhīṣma’s Rallying Presence
काममाश्रित्य दुष्पूरं दम्भभानमदान्विता: । मोहाद गृहीत्वासदग्राहान् प्रवर्तन्तेडशुचिव्रता:
kāmam āśritya duṣpūraṁ dambha-māna-madānvitāḥ | mohād gṛhītvā sad-agrāhān pravartante 'śuci-vratāḥ ||
ผู้ที่เต็มไปด้วยความเสแสร้ง ความทะนง และความเมามัวในอัตตา ย่อมพึ่งพาตัณหาที่ไม่อาจเติมเต็มได้ ด้วยความหลงจึงยึดถือหลักคำสอนอันเท็จ และรับเอาวัตรปฏิบัติอันไม่บริสุทธิ์เสื่อมทราม แล้วเที่ยวไปในโลกเช่นนั้น
