भीमसेननादः तथा प्रथमसंमर्दः

मानापमानयोस्तुल्यस्तुल्यो मित्रारिपक्षयो: । सर्वारम्भपरित्यागी4 गुणातीत: स उच्यते
mānāpamānayos tulyas tulyo mitrāripakṣayoḥ | sarvārambhaparityāgī guṇātītaḥ sa ucyate ||
ผู้ใดเสมอภาคในเกียรติและความอัปยศ เสมอภาคต่อฝ่ายมิตรและฝ่ายศัตรู และละทิ้งการริเริ่มทั้งปวงที่เกิดจากความยึดว่า “เราเป็นผู้กระทำ” ผู้นั้นแลเรียกว่า ผู้ข้ามพ้นคุณทั้งสาม
