क्लैब्यं मा सम गम: पार्थ नैतत्‌ त्वय्युपपद्यते । क्षुद्रे हृदयदौर्बल्यं त्यक्त्वोत्तिष्ठ परंतप,इसलिये हे अर्जुन! नपुंसकताको मत प्राप्त हो, तुझमें यह उचित नहीं जान पड़ती। हे परंतप! हृदयकी तुच्छ दुर्बलताको त्यागकर युद्धके लिये खड़ा हो जा

klaibyaṁ mā sma gamaḥ pārtha naitat tvayy upapadyate | kṣudraṁ hṛdaya-daurbalyaṁ tyaktvottiṣṭha paraṁtapa ||

“โอ้ ปารถะ อย่าตกลงสู่ความอ่อนแออันน่าอับอายเลย มันไม่สมกับเจ้า โอ้ ผู้เผาผลาญศัตรู จงสลัดความอ่อนแออันเล็กน้อยในใจนี้ทิ้ง แล้วลุกขึ้นยืนเถิด”
