एतत् तु रोचतां वाक्य यदुक्तोडसि मयानघ । एतत् क्षेममहं मनन््ये तव चैव कुलस्यथ च,“अनघ! मैंने जो बातें तुमसे कही हैं, वे तुम्हें रचिकर प्रतीत हों। मैं संधिको ही तुम्हारे तथा कौरवकुलके लिये कल्याणकारी मानता हूँ
etat tu rocatāṃ vākyaṃ yad ukto ’si mayānagha | etat kṣemam ahaṃ manye tava caiva kulasya ca ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “โอ้ผู้ปราศจากมลทิน ขอถ้อยคำที่เรากล่าวแก่ท่านจงเป็นที่รื่นรมย์แก่ดวงใจ เราเห็นหนทางนี้เองว่าเป็นทางอันเกษมและเป็นประโยชน์แท้จริง ทั้งแก่ท่านและแก่ตระกูลของท่านทั้งหมด”
