प्रजज्वाल रणे पार्थो विधूम इव पावक: । भरतश्रेष्ठ) इस प्रकार दसवें दिनके पूर्वाह्नकालमें उन महारथियोंको पराजित करके कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुन रणभूमिमें धूमरहित अग्निके समान प्रकाशित होने लगे

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่ภรตศรีษฐ์! ในสนามรบ ปารถะโชติช่วงดุจเพลิงไร้ควัน ครั้นในยามก่อนเที่ยงของวันที่สิบ เขาปราบมหารถีเหล่านั้นได้แล้ว กุนตีบุตรอรชุนก็ส่องประกายในสมรภูมิด้วยเดชอันบริสุทธิ์ ประหนึ่งเปลวไฟที่ปราศจากควัน”
