भीष्मस्य शरशय्या-प्राप्तिः

Bhīṣma’s Fall to the Arrow-Bed

अथान्यद्‌ धनुरादाय वेगवत्‌ परवीरहा । भगदत्तं रणे क्रुद्धं विव्याध निशितै: शरै:,तब शत्रुवीरोंका हनन करनेवाले सात्यकिने दूसरा वेगवान्‌ धनुष लेकर पैने बाणोंद्वारा युद्धमें क्ुद्ध हुए भगदत्तको बींध डाला

athānyad dhanur ādāya vegavat paravīrahā | bhagadattaṃ raṇe kruddhaṃ vivyādha niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ||

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—แล้วสาตยกี ผู้พิฆาตวีรชนฝ่ายศัตรู ก็หยิบคันธนูอันรวดเร็วอีกคันหนึ่งขึ้น และในท่ามกลางศึกได้ยิงศรคมกริบเจาะภคทัตผู้กำลังเดือดดาล।
