शक्राशनिसमस्पर्शान्‌ विमुज्चन्‌ निशिताउछरान्‌ | दिक्ष्वदृश्यत सर्वासु घोरं संधारयन्‌ वपु:,भीष्म इन्द्रके वज़के समान दुःसह स्पर्शवाले पैने बाणोंकी वर्षा कर रहे थे और सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें भयंकर स्वरूप धारण किये दिखायी देते थे

śakrāśani-samasparśān vimuñcan niśitāñ śarān | dikṣv adṛśyata sarvāsu ghoraṃ saṃdhārayan vapuḥ ||

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—ภีษมะปล่อยศรคมกริบซึ่งสัมผัสสาหัสดุจวัชระของพระอินทร์ และปรากฏให้เห็นในทุกทิศด้วยสัณฐานอันน่าสะพรึงกลัว
