भीमसेनस्य बहुमहारथसंयुगः

तमापततन्तं सम्प्रेक्ष्य पुण्डरीकाक्षमाहवे । असम्भ्रमं रणे भीष्मो विचकर्ष महद् धनु:,उस महासमरमें कमलनयन श्रीकृष्णको आते देख भीष्म उस रणक्षेत्रमें तनिक भी भयभीत न होकर अपने विशाल धनुषको खींचने लगे
tam āpatatantaṃ samprekṣya puṇḍarīkākṣam āhave | asambhramaṃ raṇe bhīṣmo vicakarṣa mahad dhanuḥ ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—เมื่อเห็นพระกฤษณะผู้มีเนตรดุจดอกบัวพุ่งเข้ามาในมหาสงคราม ภีษมะในสนามรบก็มิได้หวั่นไหวแม้แต่น้อย แล้วจึงง้างคันศรอันใหญ่ยิ่งของตน
