Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
अग्निर्वाच आसन सलिल पाद्यं प्रतिनन्दामि तेडनघ । इन्द्रेण तु समादिदष्टं विद्धि मां दूतमागतम्,अग्निने कहा--निष्पाप नरेश! आपके दिये हुए पाद्य, अर्घ्ध और आसन आदिका अभिनन्दन करता हूँ। आपको मालूम होना चाहिये कि इस समय मैं इन्द्रका संदेश लेकर उनका दूत बनकर आपके पास आया हूँ
agniḥ uvāca—āsana-salila-pādyaṁ pratinandāmi te ’n-agha | indreṇa tu samādiṣṭaṁ viddhi māṁ dūtam āgatam ||
อัคนีกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชาผู้ปราศจากมลทิน ข้าขอน้อมรับและสรรเสริญเครื่องบูชาที่พระองค์ถวาย—อาสนะ น้ำ และน้ำล้างพระบาท—ด้วยความกตัญญู จงทราบเถิดว่า ข้ามาที่นี่ในฐานะทูตซึ่งพระอินทร์ทรงใช้มา”
