युधिष्ठिरस्तु तान्‌ विप्रान्‌ प्रत्युवाच महामना:

yudhiṣṭhiras tu tān viprān pratyuvāca mahāmanāḥ |

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—ครั้งนั้นพระยุธิษฐิระผู้มีจิตใจสูงส่งได้ตรัสตอบเหล่าพราหมณ์ฤๅษีทั้งหลาย—ด้วยความสงบสำรวมและศักดิ์ศรีอันพอเหมาะ สมกับภาระทางธรรมของพระราชาผู้ทรงธรรม।
