अभवं स च तच्छुत्वा विषादमगमत् परम् । ः | : है डर “उनकी बातें सुनकर मेरी सारी इन्द्रियाँ व्यथित हो उठीं और पातालमें प्रवेश करके मैंने अपने पितासे यह सारा समाचार कह सुनाया। यह सुनकर पिताजीको भी बड़ा खेद हुआ
abhavaṁ sa ca tac chrutvā viṣādam agamat param |
อรชุนกล่าวว่า “ครั้นได้ยินถ้อยคำนั้น อินทรีย์ทั้งปวงของข้าพเจ้าก็สะท้านไหว และข้าพเจ้าถูกความโศกอันยิ่งใหญ่ครอบงำ แล้วข้าพเจ้าจึงลงสู่ปาตาลเพื่อกราบทูลเรื่องราวทั้งหมดแก่บิดา ครั้นบิดาได้สดับ ก็ทรงเศร้าโศกอย่างลึกซึ้งเช่นกัน”
