बभ्रुवाहन-धनंजययोः संग्रामः

याचते त्वां महाबाहो शमं गच्छ धनंजय । “शत्रुदमन महाबाहु धनंजय! यह तुम्हारे चरणोंमें सिर रखकर तुम्हें प्रसन्न करके तुमसे शान्तिके लिये याचना करता है। अब तुम शान्त हो जाओ
yācate tvāṃ mahābāho śamaṃ gaccha dhanaṃjaya |
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “โอ้ธนัญชัยผู้มีพาหาอันเกรียงไกร เขาวิงวอนต่อเจ้า—จงสงบเถิด จงเข้าสู่สันติ โอ้ผู้ปราบศัตรูธนัญชัย! เขาวางศีรษะลงแทบบาทของเจ้า ทำให้เจ้าพอใจ แล้วขอความสงบสันติ ดังนั้นเจ้าจงระงับโทสะและสงบลงเถิด”
