Marutta Seeks Saṃvarta’s Priestly Support; Conditions, Truth-Discipline, and Rival Powers
व्यास उवाच श्र॒त्वा तु पार्थिवस्यैतत् संवर्त: प्रमुदं गत: । एतावदहमप्येवं शक्नुयामिति सोडब्रवीत्,व्यासजी कहते हैं--राजन्! राजाकी यह बात सुनकर संवर्तको बड़ी प्रसन्नता हुई और बोले--“इतना तो मैं भी कर सकता हूँ
vyāsa uvāca śrutvā tu pārthivasyaitat saṁvartaḥ pramudaṁ gataḥ | etāvad aham apy evaṁ śaknuyām iti so ’bravīt ||
วยาสกล่าวว่า “เมื่อได้ยินถ้อยคำของพระราชาแล้ว สํวรรตะก็ยินดียิ่ง และตอบว่า ‘เพียงเท่านี้ แม้เราก็ทำได้’”
