Subhadrā’s Petition to Kṛṣṇa for the Revival of Parīkṣit (अभिमन्युज-प्राणरक्षा-प्रार्थना)
एवमुकक्त्वा तु वाष्णेयं पृथा पृुथुललोचना । उच्छित्य बाहू दु:खार्ता ताश्चान्या: प्रापतन् भुवि
evaṁ uktvā tu vārṣṇeyaṁ pṛthā pṛthulalocanā | ucchitya bāhū duḥkhārtā tāś cānyāḥ prāpatann bhuvi ||
ครั้นกล่าวดังนั้นต่อวารษเณยะ (ศรีกฤษณะ) แล้ว ปฤถา (กุนตี) ผู้มีดวงตากว้างก็ยกแขนทั้งสองขึ้น; ครั้นถูกความโศกครอบงำ นางก็ทรุดล้มลงสู่พื้นดิน และสตรีอื่น ๆ ก็ล้มลงเช่นเดียวกัน
