sa viśrānto mahātejāḥ kṛtapādāvanejanaḥ | kathayāmāsa tat sarvaṁ pṛṣṭaḥ pitrā mahāhavam ||
คนทั้งสองโอบกอดศรีกฤษณะผู้มีพาหาอันเกรียงไกรไว้แนบอก และปลอบประโลมด้วยถ้อยคำอันอ่อนหวาน ครั้นแล้วเหล่าวฤษณิวงศ์ทั้งปวงก็ล้อมรอบและนั่งรายรอบอยู่ใกล้ ๆ เมื่อศรีกฤษณะผู้เปล่งรัศมีใหญ่ได้ล้างมือและเท้าแล้วพักสงบ ครั้นบิดาไต่ถาม พระองค์จึงเล่าเหตุการณ์แห่งมหาสงครามนั้นทั้งหมดโดยพิสดารตามความเป็นจริง
