अवाप्य कुण्डले ते तु राजानं पुनरब्रवीत् । किमेतद् गुह्मवचनं श्रोतुमिच्छामि पार्थिव,उन कुण्डलोंको पाकर उत्तंक मुनि पुनः राजाके पास आये और इस प्रकार बोले --'पृथ्वीनाथ! आपके गूढ़ वचनका क्या अभिप्राय था, यह मैं सुनना चाहता हूँ
avāpya kuṇḍale te tu rājānaṁ punar abravīt | kim etad guhyavacanaṁ śrotum icchāmi pārthiva ||
เมื่อได้ตุ้มหูนั้นแล้ว อุตตังกะกลับไปเฝ้าพระราชาอีกครั้งและทูลว่า—ข้าแต่พระมหากษัตริย์ผู้ครองแผ่นดิน ข้าปรารถนาจะสดับความหมายแห่งถ้อยคำอันลี้ลับที่พระองค์ตรัสนั้น
