वापी: स्फटिकसोपाना नदीक्ष विमलोदका: । ददर्श वक्षांश्व बहून्‌ नानाद्धिजगणायुतान्‌,वहाँ स्फटिक मणिकी बनी हुई सीढ़ियोंसे सुशोभित बहुत-सी बावड़ियों, निर्मल जलवाली अनेकानेक नदियों और विहगवृन्दसे विभूषित बहुत-से मनोहर वृक्षोंको भी उन्होंने देखा

vaiśampāyana uvāca | vāpīḥ sphaṭika-sopānā nadīś ca vimalodakāḥ | dadarśa vṛkṣāṃś ca bahūn nānā-dvija-gaṇāyutān |

เขาได้เห็นบ่อขั้นบันไดมากมายที่งามด้วยบันไดแก้วผลึก เห็นสายน้ำหลายสายใสสะอาด; และยังเห็นหมู่ไม้รื่นรมย์นานาพรรณ อันประดับด้วยฝูงนกหลากชนิด
