स्वाहाकारो नमस्कार: स्वधाकारो वषट्क्रिया । याजनाध्यापने चोभे यजनाध्ययने अपि

Transliteration

svāhākāro namaskāraḥ svadhākāro vaṣaṭkriyā | yājanādhyāpane cobhe yajanādhyayane api

Translation

พระวายุตรัสว่า “การเปล่งคำว่า ‘สวาหา’ เป็นการคารวะดุจการนอบน้อม; การเปล่งคำว่า ‘สวธา’ ก็เป็นกิจพิธีเช่นกัน และเสียงเรียก ‘วษฏ’ ก็เป็นพิธีกรรมด้วย. ทั้งการประกอบยัญพิธีให้ผู้อื่น (ยาชน) และการสอนพระเวท; ตลอดจนการทำยัญพิธี (ยชน) และการศึกษาเล่าเรียนพระเวท—ล้วนเป็นหน้าที่อันศักดิ์สิทธิ์”
