वायुदेव उवाच
The verse points to a metaphysical idea: after a decisive event, a being may pass into a subtler, luminous principle and assume its ‘domain’—inviting reflection on how power, consciousness, or karmic momentum continues beyond physical defeat, and how cosmic order reassigns or absorbs energies after conflict.
Vāyu narrates a sudden entry into ‘jyotis’ (radiant essence) followed by the grasping of its ‘viṣaya’ (sphere/domain). It depicts an abrupt shift from one state to another—an absorption or transition into a luminous reality and the taking up of its operative field.
