आस्तीक उवाच ऋषिरद्द्धपायनो यत्र पुराणस्तपसो निधि: । यज्ञे कुरुकुलश्रेष्ठ तस्य लोकावुभौ जितौ

Āstīka uvāca: ṛṣir Dvaipāyano yatra purāṇas tapaso nidhiḥ | yajñe Kurukulaśreṣṭha tasya lokāv ubhau jitau ||

อาสตีกะกล่าวว่า “โอ้ผู้ประเสริฐแห่งวงศ์กุรุ ในยัญใดที่ฤๅษีโบราณทไวปายนะ—ขุมทรัพย์แห่งตบะ—ประทับอยู่ ยัญนั้นย่อมนำชัยชนะในสองโลก (โลกนี้และโลกหน้า) แก่ผู้ประกอบยัญ”
