नारदेन धृतराष्ट्रगतिवर्णनम् | Nārada’s Account of Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Future Course

कच्चिन्नन्दसि दृष्टवैतान्‌ कच्चित्‌ ते निर्मल मन: । कच्चिच्च शुद्धभावो5सि जातज्ञानो नराधिप,“नरेश्वर! क्‍या इन्हें देखकर तुम प्रसन्न होते हो? क्या इनकी ओरसे तुम्हारे मनकी मैल दूर हो गयी है? क्‍या ज्ञान-सम्पन्न होनेके कारण तुम्हारे हृदयका भाव शुद्ध हो गया है?

kaccin nandasi dṛṣṭavaitān kaccit te nirmala manaḥ | kaccic ca śuddhabhāvo 'si jātajñāno narādhipa ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่นราธิป เมื่อได้เห็นพวกเขาแล้วท่านยินดีหรือไม่? มลทินในใจของท่านได้ถูกชำระเพราะพวกเขาหรือ? และเมื่อบรรลุความรู้แท้แล้ว อัธยาศัยในดวงใจของท่านได้บริสุทธิ์ขึ้นหรือไม่?”
