ते तमूचुस्ततो वाक्यं यमुनामवगाहितुम् । पुष्पाणामुदकुम्भस्य चार्थे गत इति प्रभो
te tam ūcustato vākyaṃ yamunām avagāhitum | puṣpāṇām udakumbhasya cārthe gata iti prabho ||
แล้วพวกเขากราบทูลท่านว่า “ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นเจ้า เขาได้ไปลงสู่แม่น้ำยมุนาเพื่อเก็บดอกไม้และตักน้ำใส่หม้อน้ำ”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even in the forest stage of life, actions are framed by purpose and restraint: gathering flowers and water for ritual needs reflects disciplined living and dharma-oriented intention rather than self-indulgence.
