पर्वतने कहा--जो आपका कमल ले गया हो, वह गाँवका मुखिया हो जाय, गधेकी सवारीपर चले तथा पेट भरनेके लिये कुत्तोंकी साथ लेकर शिकार खेले ।। भरद्वाज उवाच सर्वपापसमादान नृशंसे चानृते च यत् । तत् तस्यास्तु सदा पाप॑ यस्ते हरति पुष्करम्,भरद्वाजने कहा--जिसने आपके कमलोंकी चोरी की हो, उस पापीको निर्दयी और असत्यवादी मनुष्योंमें रहनेवाला सारा-का-सारा पाप सदा ही प्राप्त होता रहे
bharadvāja uvāca | sarvapāpasamādānaṁ nṛśaṁse cānṛte ca yat | tat tasyāstu sadā pāpaṁ yas te harati puṣkaram ||
ภรทวาชะกล่าวว่า “ผู้ใดขโมยดอกบัวของท่านไป ขอให้บาปทั้งปวงของผู้โหดร้ายและผู้กล่าวเท็จ—ภาระแห่งอกุศลทั้งหมด—ตกอยู่แก่ผู้นั้นตลอดกาล”
