Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
ततस्ते यातुधानीं तां दृष्टवा विकृतदर्शनाम् । स्थितां कमलिनीतीरे कृत्यामूचुर्महर्षय:,सरोवरके तटपर खड़ी हुई उस यातुधानी कृत्याको जो बड़ी विकराल दिखायी देती थी, देखकर वे सब महर्षि बोले--
tataste yātudhānīṁ tāṁ dṛṣṭvā vikṛtadarśanām | sthitāṁ kamalinītīre kṛtyām ūcur maharṣayaḥ ||
ครั้นแล้วเหล่ามหาฤษีเห็นยาตุธานีนั้น ผู้มีรูปลักษณ์อัปลักษณ์น่าหวาดผวา ยืนอยู่ ณ ริมฝั่งสระบัว จึงกล่าวถ้อยคำต่อกฤตยานั้น।
