पुष्टिरायुस्तथा वीर्य श्रीक्षैव पितृभक्तित: । अत: जो इस बातको जानते हैं

Transliteration

puṣṭir āyus tathā vīryaṁ śrīś caiva pitṛbhaktitaḥ |

Translation

ภีษมะประกาศว่า “ด้วยความภักดีต่อปิตฤ ย่อมบังเกิดความอุดมสมบูรณ์แห่งกาย อายุยืน พละกำลัง และศรีคือความรุ่งเรือง ผู้รู้ความจริงนี้ แม้ยามเดินทางก็ยังตั้งจิตแน่วแน่ ถวายน้ำแก่ปิตฤอยู่เสมอ และในวันอมาวาสยาแห่งกฤษณปักษ์ พึงประกอบศราทธะโดยแน่นอนเป็นพิเศษ”
