The Duty to Fulfill Promised Gifts
अपि चोदाहरन्तीमं धर्मशास्त्रविदो जना: । अश्वानां श्यामकर्णानां सहस्रेण स मुच्यते
api codāharantīmaṁ dharmaśāstravido janāḥ | aśvānāṁ śyāmakarṇānāṁ sahasreṇa sa mucyate ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ยิ่งกว่านั้น ผู้รู้คัมภีร์ธรรมะยังยกตัวอย่างนี้ว่า ผู้ที่ก่อบาปแห่งการผิดคำปฏิญาณอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ย่อมพ้นจากมลทินนั้นได้ด้วยการถวายทานม้าพันตัวที่มีหูสีคล้ำ”
