The Duty to Fulfill Promised Gifts
तस्माद् दातव्यमेवेह प्रतिश्रुत्य युधिष्ठिर । यदीच्छेच्छो भनां जातिं प्राप्तुं भरतसत्तम
tasmād dātavyam eveha pratiśrutya yudhiṣṭhira | yadīcchec chobhanāṁ jātiṁ prāptuṁ bharatasattama ||
เพราะฉะนั้น โอ้ยุธิษฐิระ ของกำนัลที่ได้ให้คำมั่นไว้แล้ว พึงมอบให้แน่นอนในชาตินี้เอง โอ้ผู้ประเสริฐแห่งวงศ์ภารตะ ผู้ใดปรารถนาจะได้กำเนิดอันสูงส่ง ผู้นั้นพึงไม่บกพร่องในการทำตามสัตย์ที่ได้ปฏิญาณไว้—โดยเฉพาะสิ่งที่ได้ให้สัญญาแก่พราหมณ์
