अग्निने गुणवान् बकरा, इलाने बहुतसे फल-फूल, सुधन्वाने छकड़ा और विशाल कूबरसे युक्त रथ दिये ।। वरुणो वारुणान् दिव्यान् सगजान् प्रददौ शुभान् । सिंहान् सुरेन्द्रो व्याप्रांश्न द्विपानन्यांश्व॒ पक्षिण:
varuṇo vāruṇān divyān sagajān pradadau śubhān | siṃhān surendro vyāghrāṃś ca dvipān anyāṃś ca pakṣiṇaḥ ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—อัคนีประทานแพะผู้ที่มีคุณลักษณะประเสริฐ อิลาให้ดอกไม้และผลไม้นานาประการเป็นอันมาก และสุธันวะมอบชกฏะ (เกวียน) กับรถศึกที่มีคูบระใหญ่โต วรุณะประทานทานทิพย์อันเป็นมงคลซึ่งเกี่ยวเนื่องกับพระองค์—ช้างชั้นเลิศและทรัพย์อันเป็นศุภะ ส่วนพระอินทร์เจ้าแห่งเทวะก็ประทานสัตว์ทรงเดช—สิงห์ เสือ ช้าง และนกนานาชนิด
