Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

अस्त्रेणामोघपातेन शकक्‍्या तं घातयिष्यति । यतो वो भयमुत्पन्नं ये चान्ये सुरशत्रव:,वही समस्त देवताओं, दानवों, राक्षसों, मनुष्यों, गन्धर्वों, नागों तथा पक्षियोंको लाँधकर अपने अचूक अस्त्र-शक्तिके द्वारा उस असुरका वध कर डालेगा, जिससे तुम्हें भय उत्पन्न हुआ है। दूसरे जो देवशत्रु हैं, उनका भी वह संहार कर डालेगा

astreṇāmoghapātena śakyo taṁ ghātayiṣyati | yato vo bhayam utpannaṁ ye cānye suraśatravaḥ ||

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ด้วยการปล่อยอาวุธอันไม่เคยพลาด เขาจักสามารถสังหารศัตรูผู้นั้น—ผู้เป็นเหตุให้ความหวาดกลัวบังเกิดแก่พวกท่าน—และจักทำลายศัตรูแห่งเทวะอื่น ๆ ด้วย”
