Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
तदपत्यं हि युवयोर्देवानभिभवेद् ध्रुवम् । नहि ते पृथिवी देवी न च द्यौर्न दिवं विभो
tadapatyaṃ hi yuvayor devān abhibhaved dhruvam | nahi te pṛthivī devī na ca dyaur na divaṃ vibho |
“บุตรที่บังเกิดจากพระองค์ทั้งสองจักครอบงำแม้ทวยเทพอย่างแน่นอน ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ความเชื่อมั่นของเรามั่นคงว่า ทั้งพระแม่ธรณี ทั้งนภา และแม้สวรรค์ ก็ไม่อาจรองรับเดชรัศมีของพระองค์ได้ ต่อให้รวมกันทั้งหมดก็ยังไม่อาจทานทนได้ ทั้งโลกจักถูกเผาผลาญเป็นเถ้าธุลีด้วยอานุภาพแห่งเดชนั้น”
