शास्त्रप्रामाण्यसूक्ष्मं तु विधिं पिण्डस्य संस्मरन्‌ | ततो दर्भेषु तत्‌ सर्वमदर्द भरतर्षभ

Transliteration

śāstraprāmāṇyasūkṣmaṃ tu vidhiṃ piṇḍasya saṃsmaran | tato darbheṣu tat sarvam adarda bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “เมื่อระลึกถึงวิธีการอันละเอียดของการถวายปิณฑะซึ่งศาสตรารับรอง ข้าจึงมิได้ยอมตามสิ่งที่ปรากฏตรงหน้า ข้ายึดศาสตราเป็นอำนาจตัดสิน โอ้ภารตวृषภะ แล้วถวายปิณฑะทั้งหมดบนหญ้าดัรภะตามพิธีที่กำหนดไว้”
