Suvarṇa-dāna: Kārttikeya’s Origin and the Defeat of Tāraka (सुवर्णदान-प्रसङ्गे कार्त्तिकेय-उत्पत्ति तथा तारकवधः)

मनसा चिन्तिता भोगास्त्वया वै दिव्यमानुषा: । यच्च स्वर्गे सुखं देवि तत्‌ ते सम्पत्स्यते शुभे,देवि! शुभे! तुम अपने मनसे जिन दिव्य अथवा मानवी भोगोंका चिन्तन करोगी तथा जो स्वर्गीय सुख होगा, वे सभी तुम्हें स्वतः प्राप्त होते रहेंगे

manasā cintitā bhogās tvayā vai divya-mānuṣāḥ | yac ca svarge sukhaṃ devi tat te sampatsyate śubhe ||

โอ้เทวีผู้เป็นมงคล บรรดาโภคะทั้งทิพย์และมนุษย์ที่เจ้าระลึกนึกด้วยใจ และความสุขใด ๆ ที่มีอยู่ในสวรรค์—ทั้งหมดนั้นจักบังเกิดแก่เจ้าเองโดยมิพักต้องแสวงหา
