Nṛga-upākhyāna: Brāhmaṇa-sva and the Consequence of Misappropriated Gift-Cattle (कृकलास-रूपे नृगोपाख्यानम्)
अटवीपर्वताश्रैव नद्यस्तीर्थानि यानि च
aṭavī-parvatāś caiva nadyas tīrthāni yāni ca
ป่า ภูเขา แม่น้ำ และทิรถะทั้งหลาย—สถานที่เหล่านี้มิได้อยู่ใต้กรรมสิทธิ์ของผู้ใดผู้หนึ่ง หากถือเป็นของส่วนรวม ดังนั้นเมื่อประกอบพิธีศราทธะในสถานที่เช่นนั้น ก็ไม่จำเป็นต้องซื้อที่ดิน โอ้ผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งประชา ผลแห่งการถวายทานเป็นที่ดินได้กล่าวไว้ดังนี้
