श्रवणे कम्बलं दत्त्वा वस्त्रान्तरितमेव वा । श्वेतेन याति यानेन स्वर्गलोकानसंवृतान्‌

śravaṇe kambalaṃ dattvā vastrāntaritameva vā | śvetena yāti yānena svargalokān asaṃvṛtān ||

นารทกล่าวว่า—ผู้ใดในนักษัตรศรวณะ ถวายทานผ้าห่มขนสัตว์เพื่อคุ้มครองหู—จะถวายโดยตรงหรือห่อไว้ในผ้าอีกชั้นหนึ่งก็ตาม—ผู้นั้นย่อมโดยสารพาหนะทิพย์สีขาว ไปถึงสวรรค์โลกทั้งหลายโดยปราศจากสิ่งกีดขวาง
