अहिंसा सर्वभूते भ्य: संविभागश्चन भागश:

ahiṃsā sarvabhūtebhyaḥ saṃvibhāgaś ca na bhāgaśaḥ

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “อหิงสาต่อสรรพสัตว์ทั้งปวง และการแบ่งปันร่วมกัน—คือให้ด้วยใจเป็นส่วนรวม มิใช่แบ่งแยกด้วยความเห็นแก่ตน—ย่อมเป็นความประพฤติอันชอบธรรม.”
