Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
शस्त्रविक्रयिकाश्वैव कर्तारश्न युधिष्ठिर । शल्यानां धनुषां चैव ते वै निरयगामिन:,राजा युधिष्लिर! जो (ब्राह्मण) हथियार बेचते और धनुष-बाण आदि शणस्त्रोंको बनाते हैं, वे नरकगामी होते हैं
śastravikrayikāś caiva kartāraś ca yudhiṣṭhira | śalyānāṁ dhanuṣāṁ caiva te vai nirayagāminaḥ ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—โอ้ ยุธิษฐิระ ผู้ใดค้าขายอาวุธ และผู้ใดสร้างอาวุธ เช่น ลูกศรและคันธนู ผู้นั้นแลย่อมมุ่งสู่นรกโดยแท้
