आनुृशंस्यपरैर्भाव्यं सदैव नियतात्मभि: । ब्रह्मण्यैर्धर्मशीलैश्व तपोनित्यैश्ष भारता:

ānṛśaṃsyaparair bhāvyaṃ sadaiva niyatātmabhiḥ | brahmaṇyair dharmaśīlaiś ca taponityaiś ca bhāratāḥ ||

โอเชื้อสายแห่งภารตะ! ผู้มีความสำรวมตนพึงประพฤติด้วยความกรุณาและความอ่อนโยนต่อสรรพชีวิตอยู่เสมอ พึงข่มใจและอินทรีย์ให้ได้ พึงเป็นผู้ภักดีต่อพราหมณ์ มั่นคงในธรรม และดำรงตบะเป็นนิตย์
