धर्मराजो हि शुद्धात्मा निदेशे स्थास्यते तव । आनृशंस्यपरं होनं जानामि गुरुवत्सलम्,धर्मराज युधिष्ठिरका हृदय बहुत ही शुद्ध है। ये सदा तुम्हारी आज्ञाके अधीन रहेंगे। मैं जानता हूँ, इनका स्वभाव बहुत ही कोमल है और ये गुरुजनोंके प्रति बड़ी भक्ति रखते हैं
dharmarājo hi śuddhātmā nideśe sthāsyate tava | ānṛśaṁsyaparaṁ hīnaṁ jānāmi guruvatsalam ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ธรรรมราชยุธิษฐิระมีจิตใจบริสุทธิ์ เขาจะอยู่ในบังคับแห่งพระบัญชาของพระองค์ ข้ารู้จักเขาดี—เขายกความเมตตาไว้เหนือสิ่งใด ปราศจากความโหดร้าย และเปี่ยมด้วยความเคารพภักดีต่อครูบาอาจารย์และผู้ใหญ่”
