वेदशास्त्राणि सर्वाणि धर्माश्न मनुजेश्वर । वेदांश्न चतुर: सर्वान्‌ निखिलेनानुबुद्धयसे,मनुजेश्वर! तुम चारों वेदों, सम्पूर्ण शास्त्रों और धर्मोका रहस्य पूर्णरूपसे जानते और समझते हो

Bhīṣma uvāca: vedaśāstrāṇi sarvāṇi dharmāṃś ca manu-jeśvara | vedāṃś caturaḥ sarvān nikhilenānubuddhyase ||

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่องค์จอมแห่งมนุษย์ พระองค์ทรงเข้าใจอย่างครบถ้วนทั้งพระเวททั้งสี่ คัมภีร์ศาสนาทั้งปวง และหลักธรรมะโดยสิ้นเชิง”
