कां वा ब्राह्मणपूजायां व्युष्टिं दृष्टवा महाव्रत । तानर्चसि महाबाहो सर्वमेतद् वदस्व मे,महान् व्रतधारी महाबाहो! ब्राह्मणोंकी पूजासे भविष्यमें मिलनेवाले किस फलकी ओर दृष्टि रखकर आप उनकी आराधना करते थे? यह सब मुझे बताइये
kāṁ vā brāhmaṇapūjāyāṁ vyuṣṭiṁ dṛṣṭvā mahāvrata | tān arcasi mahābāho sarvam etad vadasva me ||
ยุธิษฐิระกล่าวว่า— “โอผู้ทรงมหาวรต โอผู้มีพาหาอันเกรียงไกร ท่านบูชาพราหมณ์ทั้งหลายโดยเพ่งหมายผลบุญในภายหน้าประการใดอันเกิดจากการบูชาพราหมณ์? ขอจงบอกข้าพเจ้าทั้งหมดเถิด”
