Shloka 38

अत्रिर्वसिष्ठो भगवान्‌ कश्यपश्च महानृषि: । गौतमश्न भरद्वाजो विश्वामित्रो5थ कौशिक:,अत्रि, भगवान्‌ वसिष्ठ, महर्षि कश्यप, गौतम, भरद्वाज, कुशिकवंशी विश्वामित्र और ऋचीकनन्दन प्रतापवान्‌ उमग्रस्वभाववाले जमदग्नि--ये सात उत्तर दिशामें रहनेवाले और कुबेरके गुरु (ऋत्विज) हैं

bhīṣma uvāca |

atrir vasiṣṭho bhagavān kaśyapaś ca mahān ṛṣiḥ |

gautamaś ca bharadvājo viśvāmitro 'tha kauśikaḥ ||

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—อัตริ ภควานวสิษฐะ มหาฤษีกัศยปะ; อีกทั้งโคตมะ ภรทวาชะ วิศวามิตรแห่งวงศ์กุศิกะ และชะมทัคนีผู้ทรงเดช บุตรแห่งฤจีคะ—ทั้งเจ็ดนี้พำนักอยู่ในทิศเหนือ และเป็นครู (ฤตวิช) ของกุเบร
