य इदं शृणुयान्नित्यं यश्चवापि परिकीर्तयेत् । नाशुभं प्राप्तुयात् किंचित् सोअमुत्रेह च मानव:
ya idaṁ śṛṇuyān nityaṁ yaś cāpi parikīrtayet | nāśubhaṁ prāpnuyāt kiñcit so 'mutreha ca mānavaḥ ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—ผู้ใดฟังบทนี้เป็นนิตย์ และผู้ใดสวดหรือขับสรรเสริญบทนี้ ย่อมไม่ประสบสิ่งอัปมงคลใด ๆ ทั้งในโลกนี้และในโลกหน้า.
