Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)

तच्छुत्वा विस्मयं जम्मुर्धृतराष्ट्रादयो नूपा: । सम्पूज्य मनसा कृष्णं सर्वे प्राजजलयो5भवन्‌,भीष्मजीकी बात सुनकर धृतराष्ट्र आदि राजाओंको बड़ा विस्मय हुआ और वे सभी मन-ही-मन श्रीकृष्णकी पूजा करते हुए उन्हें हाथ जोड़ने लगे

tac chrutvā vismayaṁ jagmur dhṛtarāṣṭrādayo nṛpāḥ | sampūjya manasā kṛṣṇaṁ sarve prāñjalayo 'bhavan |

ครั้นได้ฟังดังนั้น ธฤตราษฏระและบรรดากษัตริย์ทั้งหลายก็พิศวงยิ่งนัก แล้วต่างบูชาพระกฤษณะในดวงใจ และพร้อมกันยืนประนมมือด้วยความเคารพ
