उमोवाच भगवन् सर्वभूतेश भूतभव्यभवोत्तम । त्वत्प्रभावादियं देव वाक् चैव प्रतिभाति मे
umovāca bhagavan sarvabhūteśa bhūtabhavyabhavottama | tvatprabhāvād iyaṃ deva vāk caiva pratibhāti me ||
อุมา กล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ผู้เป็นอีศวรแห่งสรรพสัตว์ ผู้สูงสุดเหนืออดีต อนาคต และปัจจุบัน—ด้วยพระบารมีของพระองค์ โอ้เทพเจ้า วาจานี้จึงผุดพรายแจ่มชัดในหทัยของข้าพระองค์.”
