कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity
न धनानि न वासांसि न भोगान् न च काउचनम् । न गावो नान्नविकृतिं प्रयच्छन्ति कदाचन,वेन धन, न वस्त्र, न भोग, न सुवर्ण, न गौ और न अन्नकी बनी हुई नाना प्रकारकी खाद्य वस्तुओंका कभी दान करते हैं
na dhanāni na vāsāṃsi na bhogān na ca kāñcanam | na gāvo nānnavikṛtiṃ prayacchanti kadācana ||
พระศรีมหेशวรตรัสว่า “คนเหล่านั้นไม่เคยให้ทานเลย—ไม่ให้ทรัพย์ ไม่ให้ผ้า ไม่ให้ความสุขสบาย ไม่ให้ทอง; ไม่ให้โค และไม่ให้อาหารที่ปรุงเป็นนานาชนิดจากข้าวปลาอาหาร. ด้วยเหตุนี้เขาจึงปิดกั้นตนเองจากความเอื้อเฟื้อและหน้าที่แห่งการให้ทาน.”
