सर्वभूतदया धर्मो न चैकग्रामवासिता । आशापाशविमोक्षश्न शस्यते मोक्षकाड्क्षिणाम्‌

Transliteration

sarvabhūtadayā dharmo na caikagrāmavāsitā | āśāpāśavimokṣaś ca śasyate mokṣakāṅkṣiṇām ||

Translation

พระมหิศวรตรัสว่า—สำหรับผู้ใคร่โมกษะ ความเมตตาต่อสรรพสัตว์ทั้งปวงนั่นแลคือธรรม เขาไม่ควรผูกตนอยู่กับหมู่บ้านเดียวหรือที่พำนักเดิมเพียงแห่งเดียว และพึงเพียรตัดบ่วงแห่งความหวังและความใคร่ปรารถนา นี่คือสิ่งที่สรรเสริญในหมู่ผู้มุ่งหลุดพ้น.
