Transliteration

śibirauśīnaraḥ prāṇān priyasya tanayasya ca | brāhmaṇārtham upākṛtya nākapṛṣṭham ito gataḥ ||

Translation

พระเจ้าศิพิแห่งวงศ์อุศีนระ เพื่อประโยชน์แก่พราหมณ์ ได้สละชีวิตของตน—แม้กระทั่งชีวิตของโอรสอันเป็นที่รัก—แล้วจากโลกนี้ไปสู่แดนสวรรค์
