Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
ऐश्वर्य सकल॑ यस्मादनुत्पादितमव्ययम् | अबीजाद् बीजसम्भूतं वरं तस्माद् वृणीमहे
aiśvaryaṃ sakalaṃ yasmād anutpāditam avyayam | abījād bījasambhūtaṃ varaṃ tasmād vṛṇīmahe ||
จากพระองค์บังเกิดอิศวรรยาทั้งปวง—มิได้ถูกสร้างขึ้น ไม่เสื่อมสลาย และไม่สิ้นสุด พระองค์ทรงเป็นผู้ไร้เมล็ดเหตุ และจากแหล่งอันไร้เมล็ดเหตุนั้นเอง สิ่งทั้งหลายที่ “เกิดจากเมล็ด” คือเหตุและผลทั้งปวงจึงอุบัติขึ้น เพราะฉะนั้น เราจึงขอพรจากมหาเทพพระองค์นั้น
